The concept of reality has always been debates and discussions: there are those who say that there is only one objective and that everyone should see, others argue that the "perception" the only possible means to have experience of reality, but that tool is personal and subjective, while referring to constant cultural, biological and physiological. In this series I wanted to show more or less obvious distortions of reality, which can start from a dream ( Brazil ) or be the means to an end of life ( Shallow Hal ) manipulation of reality to maintain a psycho-physical balance ( Good bye Lenin ) and actual conditions of perception, often based on creative geniuses (L 'Arte dream .) Bias shared or absurd, but which are united by a common causality: non-acceptance of, perhaps, the true reality. The decision was also guided by my personal "taste" for solutions impossible, but unlikely, that awaken the imagination quietly, without shaking or trauma. Martina Agostini
