From the cycle " In what world do you live? - The reality that surrounds you is different from the one you are living "
edited by Martina Agostini
The concept of reality has always been the subject of reflection and debate: Some say that there is only one objective and that everyone should see, others argue that the "perception" the only possible means to have experience of reality, an instrument that is personal and subjective, however, while referring to constant cultural, biological and physiological. In this series I wanted to show more or less obvious distortions of reality, which can start from a dream ( Brazil ) or be the means to an end of life ( Shallow Hal ) manipulation of reality to maintain a psycho-physical balance ( Good bye Lenin ) and actual conditions of perception, many times the basis of creative geniuses (L 'Arte dream .) Bias shared or absurd, but which are united by a common causality: does not accept, perhaps, the true reality. The decision was also guided by my personal "taste" for solutions impossible, but unlikely, that awaken the imagination quietly, without shaking or trauma. Martina Agostini

"A place any of the twentieth century." A little escape from the totalitarian regime used in which he lives dreaming of a winged hero who lives a love story with a woman from the angelic form, saving a huge and very bad monster. In the real world a cockroach - a bug - short the computer.
Rich quote moviegoer but mainly found very successful comic and pungent satirical ideas, Brazil is a complex and original, sometimes brilliant but often confused.
